Information about Hetas and NAPIT can be found all over the internet. Hetas or NAPIT approved fitters are always present on our installations. It is a legal requirement and very important for your safety. You can however fit a Stove yourself providing you register to do so with your local Authority who will send out an inspector to make sure you have done it properly. Obviously they do charge for this service. If you don't get paperwork to say it has been installed properly you could be putting you and your family at risk. Insurance company s almost certainly require it and when you come to sell your property it will also be required. For more information on Hetas check out the internet and look for this logo.
Defra approved stoves are Stoves designed to burn cleaner and meet strict regulations for smokeless zones. If you live in a smokeless zone this means you can have a lovely real fire without breaking any regulations. have a look on the internet for more information
